Cavas Wine Tasting Bar

Cavas is not really a restaurant, but they do serve food (my favorite is the yummy cheese plates). I love this place! Located at 437 Espanola Way, this wine tasting bar has me hooked. I'm pretty sure I've been there every day over the past 2 weeks. Cavas is a self-serve wine bar. You put money on a card and you can sample dozens of different wines. You stick your card into the self-serve machine and select one of three sizes "taste", "half glas", or "full glass". Hold your glass up and it pours the selected amount and debits your card. Pretty cool. It gives you the opportunity to taste a wine before plunking down the money to buy a bottle or full glass. You can find Amanda and me there almost every day around 4pm.
