The New Baires Grill...

OK, so I've lived on South Beach for about seven years now. I've had dinner at Baires Grill on Washington Ave about four or five times during this time. And, every time it was by myself when I wanted a nice dinner alone... Just like tonight.
The only difference.... Tonight, it was at the new location on Lincoln Road.

I passed by earlier today and considered having lunch there because the lunch menu is very reasonable. Perhaps tomorrow I'll go. Because my dinner tonight was friggin' awesome. And, I'm not using that term loosely. Holy crap... I had, without a doubt, the best Argentinian skirt steak I've ever had.

I sat at the bar where Giovanni (the nicest bartender on the beach) took very good care of me. He recommended what I already wanted... which is always a good sign. I had the 14 oz skirt steak - - medium rare. Just as Giovanni would have it. Again... sorry to be repetitive, but that was the best skirt steak I've ever had. I didn't even touch the trifecta of dipping sauces. Didn't need 'em. The steak was perfectly (and I stress "perfectly") seasoned. Absolutely delicious.

Ignore all of the construction that is happening on that block... Just go! It IS that good. I have a new favorite on Lincoln Rd. No doubt.
